Josey has been on night shift for three days now. Rory keeps saying, “daddy home soon?” and after she goes to bed, I’ve been kind of lonely and bored, too. So, tonight I tried my best to keep both of us busy. After supper, we went to a new spot I’ve been wanting to check out for photo shoots. I didn’t expect much cooperation, I was really just going to see what the lighting situation was. After that, we stopped at the park to do a little swinging and sliding, Rory’s new favorite things to do. It occupied an hour or so of our time together, and now that she’s in bed I was able to play around with a couple of the photos I managed to get.
I was playing around with this one. A vintage wash and a brown & white. I actually don’t mind the b&w, which is different for me because I am mostly a color girl. What do you think?
On our way home, the light coming through the clouds as the sun went down was absolutely awesome. It reminded me of the beginning of Highway to Heaven. Wow, 1984 to 1989. I can’t believe I actually remember that show. Anyway, I found out that I definitely couldn’t cut it as a landscape photographer. This doesn’t even do it justice.
Rory jumped in the bath, we made some cookies, and then we ended the night with a few books. We will be happy when daddy is home again, and things are back to normal. We miss him!

Josey - I miss my girls too! I love you both much.
Rachelle - Lets see if this works for me today. I love the first one the teal door is a neat background. But my favorite is the vintage wash. Thats what alot of our pictures are. I just started to like the b&w style though. the kids got their pictures last year taken by the antique people who do the for fundraiser and those are my all time favorite so far. and they are the b&w or sepia (r they the same) with a spalsh of color in them, very cute.
Kelli - Adorable!
