Child & Family Sessions – FAQ
How much will our session cost? What’s included in the session fee?
The child and family session fee is $200 and is due at the time of booking to secure your spot in my schedule. The session fee is non-refundable and it covers my time before, during and after the session. This fee does not include any prints, digital files or products. Clients typically invest a minimum of $800 on their session and many invest upwards of $2000.
Can I see a full pricing details?

Can I purchase the photos to print myself?
Yes! I offer digital files, which you will receive on a USB drive along with a 5×7 print of each image and the permission to print them as you wish. Digital files can be purchased as a part of my collections.
When do your sessions take place?
Since lighting is such an important part of what I do, all of my outdoor child and family sessions take place a couple hours after sunrise and a couple hours before sunset. I will work with you to find a day that works for both of us for your session.
Do I have to decide on the location for my session?
No! I have several locations where I regularly shoot at, most located on private property where I have permission to shoot. I will work with you to understand what style you are going for and will recommend a location based off of that as well as your clothing choices. The result will be a truly custom and unique session that suits your family’s style and personality!
What should we wear for our session?
I am pleased to offer a complimentary phone consultation to discuss the vision you have for your session. A huge part of that is what you wear! I love helping my clients pull together outfit ideas for the entire family and am happy to do the same for you. After our consultation, I’ll provide you with a “what to wear guide” that will make one of the most difficult aspects of planning a session super simple for you!!
How long will I have to wait to see my photos?
Typically, you will receive your gallery within a week after your session. During busier times, it may take up to two weeks, but that is very rare.
How do I order my photos?
You will receive an online gallery of the fully-edited images from your session. From there, you will have one week to place your order. I am happy to offer an in-person or phone ordering consultation if you would like help in deciding how or where to display your wall art and how to ensure you get all of the prints and products you want and need in the most economical way.
How long will it take for my order to arrive?
It will take 1-3 weeks for your order to arrive. Many of the products that I offer are custom designed by me and handmade from high quality labs, so those things can take a bit of time to come in. I promise they are worth the wait, though!
I’m ready to book a session, how do I do that?
Great! To book your session, please contact me via email at: everydayartphoto@gmail.com. We will discuss a date as well as all of your hopes and desires for your family’s session. I will then send you to my client site where you will find detailed instructions for paying your session fee, signing the contract and also filling out a client questionnaire that will help me to prepare for your session.
