It has been awhile since I’ve seen this little family. Gosh, I couldn’t believe how big R is these days! I asked him about a million questions, and I found out that he likes superheros, his favorite candy is Skittles, his favorite color is all of them, and he’s going to be a Ninja Turtle for Halloween. benjie & cari {the wedding}
As I mentioned before, we traveled out to Whitefish, Montana for the wedding of Benjie and Cari. Located right on Whitefish Lake, the lodge where the events of the weekend took place was beautiful. The cold, crisp air, the smell of burning wood, the warmth of a fireplace around every corner, cozy sitting areas, and amazing family and friends made for a wonderful wedding weekend. This past weekend, Josey, Cohen, and I headed out to Whitefish, Montana for our friends’ wedding. It was a busy and exhausting trip, but the place was beautiful. Right when Josey walked in the door of our room, I told him that we should have brought Rory along so that we wouldn’t have to go home! I really wish we would have more time to spend out there. I came home from work this afternoon, picked him up out of his bed, and he was the sweetest, smiley little guy. So I ran and grabbed my camera. He went from “I’m so happy to see you, mama!” to “Okay, now I want my food!” just like that. So this is all I got. I guess I’ll have to be quicker next time. I was happy to snuggle with him, though. This started off as a ten on tuesday post, but yeah…it’s closer to Thursday now. So I don’t know what to title it, but I have some random bits on my mind, so here goes. 2 months old
The fastest two months of my life! I’m happy to report, he got all his screaming out, and is back to his happy, laid back self. Thank goodness! I also went back to work this week, and it seems he has adjusted so well. I swear, he changes every day while I’m away from him. I really thought that one of our kids would have had brown eyes like me, but his just keep getting lighter and lighter.
