Sorry for the lack of posts and photos this week.  I have been exhausted all week after the long weekend.  I do have some very exciting news to report today, though.  My husband passed his Professional Engineering exam!  Yay!  Yesterday when I got home, it took all the willpower I had to not open the letter.  I will admit to holding it up to the window to see if I could read the letter through the envelope, though. What a weekend

Whew!  I had a busy and exhausting weekend, but I had a great time.  We left early (I mean, really early) Friday morning, and got into Salt Lake City at around 10:00.  We spent most of the day walking around an awesome outdoor mall with every store imaginable.  I was so amazed by everything in SLC.  The whole downtown has such character.  All the old buildings are well kept with little shops in them.  We went to an old trolley station that hasView full post »

Attitude

I don't have much to post about today.  Josey and I are getting ready to take off for a quick trip this weekend to Salt Lake City where I am attending a photography workshop on Saturday.  I'm really excited for the workshop, and to just get away with my husband.  Rory gets to stay with grandpa and grandma, which means maybe Josey and I can enjoy a meal out without cutting food up into tiny bits and blowing on it until our meals are cold!  I'm going to missView full post »

Outside fun

Well, we had a couple of nice days last weekend, but it looks like that is long gone now.  Today it is cold, rainy, and cloudy.  Sunday afternoon, we took advantage of the near 80 degree weather.  Rory picked out this fun sprinkler at her favorite store, Target.  At first, she didn't like the water in her face, but she learned to love it.  All of the photos I took of her playing in it were way overexposed, but whatever, this was the best IView full post »
