I almost didn’t photograph this family because of their clothing choice.  It’s a good thing the Bison won that day! 🙂  Seriously, though, I waited a year to meet this family and it was so great finally getting to do just that!  When clients come from out of town, I always get so nervous that the weather won’t hold up, but it was the perfect night.  I can’t even explain how much these parents love this little girl.  We started shooting, and right away, they jumped in and knew exactly how to make her smile.  And it was obvious that the feelings were mutual; she was the funniest little thing, dancing and giggling at them.  I loved it!  My favorite part was when they’d start to sing the Hotdog song from Mickey Mouse and she would just instantly snap into dancing mode.  So, SO CUTE!  One year olds are a lot of work to photograph, they have their own agenda and are more interested in checking out the surroundings than the photographer, but it is so much fun watching them explore and try out all of the tricks that they have learned in their first year of life!
