Elmo, Cookie Monster, and all the gang were in town this weekend! Rory and Gracie loved the show (and to be honest, so did I). It was so much fun to see those two and all the other kids in the audience get so excited, and I was in amazement of the character's costumes. Rory had her hands in the air and wiggled her body the entire time. In fact, my leg was sore from all the wiggling by the end of it. Beware of the snapshots below. They are nothing great photographically speaking, but they definitely show the excitement the girls had when they saw Big Bird on stage for the first time!
Cookie Monster does a pretty mean River Dance!
During the intermission, they each got one of these fun Elmo balloons.
Rory and I made these Elmo cupcakes the night before to celebrate after the show! Actually, I made the cupcakes; Rory ate half a bag of marshmallows.
Tonight I got to photograph two of my favorite kids in the world, so be on the look-out tomorrow for some major cuteness! :o)
sarah - Oh, I bet Rory LOVED the show! We have tickets for the day after Thanksgiving–7th row! Avery’s going to freak. How long was the show?
Megan - Sarah ~ Avery will love it! It was so much fun. The show was about 1 1/2 hours with a 15 minute intermission.
Marion - Adorable! Looks like fun!
