Recently, my daughter Rory turned ten years old. This is such a milestone, moving into double digits! The significance of it inspired me to come up with something really special to help document who she is today. I wanted to capture not only how she looks as a ten year old, but also her personality, her interests, and who she really is. And I also wanted to involve her in the planning process, so I asked her…if I could capture one thing that she really loves, what would it be? It was an easy answer for her; her love of music! She has always loved singing, but this past year, she started learning guitar and it’s obvious that it’s something that she is meant to do. We had so much fun planning and shooting this session together. It is time spent with her that I will never forget!
This past winter, I also spent some time getting to learn how to shoot video with my camera. My hope is that I can add it into my sessions in order to provide something beautiful and unique to my clients. I hope you’ll enjoy watching Rory’s story!
