The greatest compliments I can ever receive are when a client refers me to their friends and family and, better yet, they ask me to photograph their family again. I was so completely honored that this family chose me to photograph their second baby girl, and it was so much fun seeing her big sister Eden, whom I photographed as a newborn in February 2011, in her new role. Parents of newborns sometimes get worried when I show up and suddenly, their baby decides they don’t want to sleep. Isabelle was one of those, but I didn’t mind one bit. It only meant that I was able to spend a good amount of time rocking and snuggling her and I even got to play outside with Eden. In North Dakota, it isn’t often that you find a dad who isn’t a hunter, and I could tell that Eden’s dad has been educating her well in that area. We sat outside on the front step of the house watching birds while her mom was feeding Isabelle, and Eden was teaching me what sounds pheasants make! I don’t think having another little princess in the house is going to keep their dad from teaching them all about his hobbies!
