Happy Mother’s Day!

This morning, I woke up to the bedroom door swinging open, followed by a sweet little almost-two year old saying, "Happy Muhver’s Day!"  Cutest thing ever!  :o)  I had a wonderful day.  We went to church, out for lunch, I took a much-need afternoon nap, and then spent the rest of the day with my little family.  It can’t get much better than that!

ETA:  I forgot to mention that part of my Mother’s Day gift was a new Colbie Caillat CD.  Thank you Rory (and daddy)!  I’ve been listening to it all day, and I love it, so I put up one of the songs off the CD in honor of that.  It is mother-related, too!

While out to eat, the waitress gave Rory a balloon.  It’s safe to say that she loved it!

A funny story from the weekend…I have been getting Rory ready for her birthday party that is coming up next weekend.  We’ve been talking about cake, ice cream, and all the people coming to help her celebrate.  I was asking her on Friday who is coming to her party.  She usually goes through the list of kids perfectly and ends by saying, "all my friends," but this time was different.  Apparently, her real friends aren’t able to make it, but she is sure that Elmo, Mickey, and President Bush are going to be there!  There has been this commercial with President Bush on it, and she keeps asking who it is, so when asked who’s coming to the party, she responded with, "Bush!"  Unfortunately, he didn’t get an invitation so I hope she isn’t too disappointed when the time comes!

I hope everyone had a great Mother’s Day!  I’ll try to get some photos of the wedding flowers from this weekend up tomorrow.
