Well, almost!  Only a few more days.  I remember last year on the 4th of July, his mom and I were very swollen, very round, very excited, and very nervous.  Blake was going to be making his grand entrance in only two days, and we spent most of the day in the comfort of air conditioning, talking about what labor and delivery would be like.  Now, looking back, it seems strange that either of us was ever worried.

It has been a fast first year, and all I can say about all of the years to come is..we’re in for some trouble, I think.  Blake and Cohen are going to keep us busy, no doubt!  We can blame their dads for that.

blake vs. rory

The W family was over on Sunday for some food, football, and photos.  I didn’t think there was anyone who could compete with Rory in the area of talkative-ness.  I was wrong.  This guy definitely likes to voice his opinion!

It is crazy to think about how our get-togethers have changed in just a short time.  I first met Tyler and Jenny a little over six years ago.  We were all college kids back then, and Josey and I had not been dating long.  Two weddings, and three kids later, the conversation and the noise level has changed quite dramatically since then!

I couldn’t wait to get one of our boys in this tie.  Another The Belle and The Beau creation!

Super B!

Okay, I realize that was really dorky, but Josey and I were having a discussion about this little guy this evening, and he told me that when I put these photos up, I had to call him that.  And, well, the photo fit!   He’s adorable, no matter what you call him, and we love him to death.

His daddy and Josey have been friends for…a long time.  In fact, I was told that before Josey and I could get married, the two of them had to get a divorce first.  And then this little man was born just over two weeks before Cohen.  They were born to be best friends.  I fear that, someday, we will have trouble on our hands.  Phineas and Ferb, anyone?

Yeah, we are definitely in trouble.  Only because I know that with faces so sweet, neither his mama nor I will be able to hold much against our baby boys!
