the vournas family

Once again, this year I got to meet up with Erin and her family for a session, and in return, she photographed my family!  I adore the images she got of us, so I guess it’s time I showed off how cute her kids are in return!  This year was really special because they have since added another little member to their family.  This was the first time I was able to meet baby Julia and seeing the four of them together made me so, so happy!  Of course, Elias was smarter than ever, too!  He is a great big brother.

Thanks so much, Erin, for giving us such wonderful photos of our family.  I hope you enjoy yours, and I can’t wait for next year!

Another wonderful family, and this one I’ve worked with before!  It was so fun seeing this family again.  I think the last time I had a session with them was when Cameron was one.  Let me tell you…he is much bigger, but he still looks exactly the same!  And I could not get enough of his little sister’s curls.  So much fun to see a child grown and another added to the family!  Thank you, W family, for choosing to work with me again!  It was a pleasure.

Auntie again!  I am telling you, I am SO loving the idea of having all of these babies around, yet not having to go through a pregnancy myself.  My baby is not so much a baby anymore, so getting to spend time with baby neices and nephews is a treat for me.  It is such a blessing to add another member to our family, and while I love  them all, no matter how old they are, having a brand new one to snuggle and smell and photograph is defnitely extra special!

Well, hello there!  I’m a little behind on my blogging, and haven’t been around here in awhile.  I’ve been much too busy shooting and editing sessions, and ordering and packaging prints and holiday cards.  Unfortunately that has almost come to an end, so I’m here to catch up!  With the (dare I say it?) snow just around the corner, I am trying to squeeze all of my wonderful client’s outdoor sessions in before Halloween.  This family can attest to the reason why.  It was a bit chilly and windy the day of their session, but these little ones were troopers and I think we accomplished what we needed to do.

While working on this session, every time I opened a new image of one of these kids, I couldn’t help but say to myself, “Oh, they are SO cute!”

I just adored this family!  These girls had me cracking up from the minute I first met them, and I knew we’d hit it off when I learned they knew everything about princesses!  I’ve gone through about four years of princess obsession in my house, so I am well versed in that!  I’ve had several of my sessions postponed due to the windy and rainty weather lately, but the evening we had this session, it was gorgeous outside.  The perfect evening, for sure.  To top off my time with this great family, as we were wrapping things up, my memory came through for me, and I realized that mom and I used to play against each other in high school sports!  Talk about a small world!

Be prepared for overshare here.  It is so, so hard for me to choose!  These little girls are just simply beautiful.
