papa’s pumpkin patch 2010 | bismarck, nd

A couple weeks ago, KaCee and Emma joined us at Papa’s Pumpkin Patch.  It was our one and only trip this year, and we always have so much fun out there.  We had so many beautiful fall days, and this was no exception.  It seemed they were a little short on pumpkins, but that only meant it was easier for Cohen to run wild!  Whichever direction we all went, he literally walked the opposite direction.  LOL!  And Emma was just her usually smiley self.  Love that girl!  Rory’s favorite thing was probably the slides.  I love that she can remember everything about the pumpkin patch from last year!

A few snapshots from the day…

Fighting to get up the slide first!

the vournas family | bismarck, nd family photographer

I am always excited for all of my sessions, but I was especially excited for this one because Erin and I have had the chance to become great friends over the last year.  If you look at my email inbox on any given day, it is usually half-way filled with back and forth messages between her and I discussing just about everything.  A wonderful photographer herself, I love that I am able to talk about anything and everything with her, and she totally gets it.  We bounce ideas and opinions off one another, and having someone who you can trust to be honest with you is so truly invaluable.

So, anytime we have the chance to get together, I am super excited, but this time was different because I was finally able to meet her sweet family.  Not only that, but she also photographed my family, which was quite the event for me because we have no family photos.  None!  Well, that’s not true anymore because she gave us some beautiful images of our family, and for that I am so grateful!

Elias and I became fast friends.  I’d like to say it was me he liked, but I am sort of thinking it was probably more so the gift I had for him!

harper turns one | bismarck, nd baby photographer

Little Miss Harper turned one recently, and I was so lucky to be able to stop over that day to take some photos at her party!  I’m so glad I did because her mom had organized the cutest party ever.  How adorable are all those owls?  Just about as cute as Harper herself!

Thanks so much for having me over to capture your sweet girl on her first birthday!

kambree & avaree

How beautiful are these girls?!  I had so much fun hanging with them last week.  There was lots of giggles involved!

product highlight | gallery wrapped canvas & image boxes

Since I am in the middle of the busy fall photo season, I have been receiving a lot of questions about some of the products that I offer, so I thought I’d show off a couple of them!  You can see the mini accordion albums in this post.  I recently got this canvas as a sample, and I LOVE it!  There is nothing like seeing your kiddos sweet faces BIG on your wall every day!  These canvases are so beautiful, a photo really can’t do it justice.  I love that they are ready to hang or display, no frames necessary, which makes them so classic.  Something you will treasure forever.  A true piece of art for your wall or mantle.  Custom photography really is an investment, one that we don’t always make often, so when you do, this is the one thing I always recommend because it is the most perfect way to cherish your favorite image from your session forever.

Another one of my favorite products are the image boxes.  A more modern take on an album, these come complete with a custom designed box, and inside they hold all of the images from your session.  So, when you can’t decide which ones to order because you love them all…that’s when these come in handy!  Set it on your coffee table for everyone to look through over and over again.  Order one of these with one of my Collections, and the cd with your digital files will be stored on the inside cover of your image box.
