the n family

November 17, 2009

Thank you so much to this family for inviting me into your home to photograph your sweet little guy. He’s so cute, I could have taken him home with me, but I’m not sure how we would manage two babies at once around here!

what’s he really thinking?

November 7, 2009

I find myself wondering this very often some days. Especially, while watching all the silly faces he makes. He is still kind of all over the place and it takes awhile for him to get locked in on one thing, but when he does he’s locked.

WHAT was that?!?! Oh. Whew. Just my sister.

Whoa.  I think I’m in some sort of trance.  This chandelier gets me every time.

Ohp…there’s Rory again!

Wait.  What’s that now?  I think I hear her!  But where is she?

Awwww.  There she is!  Hi mama!

This little man is growing by leaps and bounds.  This past week he started to really grab and hold onto his toys, and yesterday we heard his first real giggle.  So sweet!  Those armpits are pretty ticklish!

And thank you Jen at sweet birdie for this super cute outfit!  Oh so adorable!

happy {day after} halloween!

November 1, 2009

Yesterday was a busy, hectic, and fun day!  We had an extra baby in the house for a few days, and I was so excited to get everyone dressed up.  Rory picked her own costume for the first time this year, and the first time she put it on, it was so cute; she was SO excited!

When she said she wanted to be Tinkerbell, one of her main requests was to have shoes with “puff balls.”  So, we made shoes with puff balls to match!

Since it was so cold, we went to the mall for trick or treating.  She was gushing over all the other little girls’ costumes, and it seemed that Snow White was the costume of the year.  At one point she said to me, “MOM!  There are so much Snow Whites here!”  Another little girl was dressed as Abby Cadabby, and Rory said, “Look!  It’s the tooth fairy!”  Hilarious!

And here’s my baby owl!  Isn’t he the cutest thing?  I had seen a hat similar to this on etsy, and I just knew that’s what he had to be this year.  Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to get the hat, but I did find someone to crochet a smilar one, and I finished it off with the eyes and nose to match the rest of the costume.  I am so happy with how it turned out…exactly as I had imagined in my head.  I LOVE when that happens!  Let me just note that if you are planning on making your child a Halloween costume, it is best to do it when they are less than 2 feet tall.  It was the tiniest costume I’ve ever seen!

Here’s the two crazy kids together.  Of course, they couldn’t both look up at the same time.  Oh well.

Oh, and remember that other little baby I was talking about?  It’s Emma!  The cutest wittle kitty ever!
