Well, I’ve done it.  I’ve decided to start a blog like every other person in this world these days.  While I have many reasons why I wanted to start this blog, I think the most important reason is because I want to be able to have a place to put down all the little things that happen in our lives each day, so that one day we can look back on it all and say, "I remember that!"  So that one day, Rory can look back and say, "Mom and dad never told me I did that!"

A few other reasons for this blog:  To stay in touch with all the family and friends who we don’t get to see as often as we’d like.  So they can see what we’re up to, and how fast Rory is growing.  Also, to challenge myself to continue taking photos, and to continue working at becoming better at photography.  There are so many photographers out there with blogs that I love to page through.  I love looking at their photos and learning from them, and maybe the pressure of getting a new post up will help me to take more and more photos of our everyday life.

So, for my first official post, another photo from today out of the series I used for my banner.  She’s such a goof ball!
