We've had a pretty low-key holiday weekend. Josey had to work on Saturday, so we stuck close to home for the 4th. I had been telling Rory about the parade for three days prior, so even though when the day came, Josey and I didn't really want to go, we took her anyway. It was worth while.
This is the reason we only stayed for about half an hour. Everytime she picked up a piece of candy, she wanted to eat it immediately. She even wanted to eat the floss the dental office thew from their float! Luckily, there were some older kids nearby who were much faster than her, and she wasn't able to collect too much.
We spent the afternoon at grandpa and grandma's house. Marshall and Lane brought their dirt bikes with, so it was interesting around there. Everyone got a ride, including a few men who were a little too big for them!
On our way home, we drove through town, and stopped so Rory could watch the fireworks at the capitol. She was pretty excited to see them! I'm surprised she stayed up so long!
