Last weekend, I traveled to Fargo to meet up with my friend Erin of Erin Vournas Photography for a fun little getaway.  I will say it was one of the best weekends I’ve had in a loooong time for one reason.  Sleep!  I went the night before just so I could have one glorious night in a hotel, all alone.  Just me and the bed.  And I slept for ten hours straight, only to be awakened by the alarm so that I wouldn’t miss out on this fun little mini session.  Of course, the weekend wasView full post »

I think I have been blogging for three-ish years now, and this happens every year.  I finish up the crazy fall photography season, and just put the camera away for awhile so I can focus on my family again.  There is so much to do and enjoy during the holidays, it is easy to do.  In fact, this year at Christmas, I didn’t take one photo of my kids.  At the time, I thought it was a great idea to just sit back and enjoy watching them, but now that it has come and gone, I am a bit sad aboutView full post »
