REWIND! Okay, so just for a minute, let’s pretend that Christmas has not already come and gone. I am always excited to spend some time snuggling newborns during a session, but I didn’t get to do much of that with this one because he slept perfectly almost the entire time! Of course, I think all newborns are special, but when it dawned on me that he was born on the best day of the year, I knew this little guy was going to be extra awesome. This was it! My last family session of the season, and we had another gorgeous day in Bismarck! I was skeptical, thinking there was no way we’d be lucky enough to have sunshine and nice tempuratures all the way until the end of October, but we had the most beautiful fall here in North Dakota. This week, I’m going to be wrapping up blog posts on the last couple of wonderful families I was able to work with this year. I should total up how many family sessions I did…it was a lot more than usual, and that makes me really happy. It is always so great to see mom and dad in some photos with their children! Oh, did we ever have fun this Halloween! First of all, Cohen is OBSESSED with Toy Story, and has been since early this summer. I had other ideas for cute coordinating costumes, but in the end, it was a no brainer to let him be Buzz, and Rory was super excited about being Jessie. Another bonus for me…no sewing! Once again, this year I got to meet up with Erin and her family for a session, and in return, she photographed my family! I adore the images she got of us, so I guess it’s time I showed off how cute her kids are in return! This year was really special because they have since added another little member to their family. Another wonderful family, and this one I’ve worked with before! It was so fun seeing this family again. I think the last time I had a session with them was when Cameron was one. Auntie again! I am telling you, I am SO loving the idea of having all of these babies around, yet not having to go through a pregnancy myself. My baby is not so much a baby anymore, so getting to spend time with baby neices and nephews is a treat for me. It is such a blessing to add another member to our family, and while I love them all, no matter how old they are, having a brand new one to snuggle and smell and photograph is defnitely extra special!
